Good little BoyA Poem by RoyRogersWhat does it mean to be a good little boy.Good little doggy, Good little boy, you deserve praise and a shiny new toy Good little doggy, You did all your chores, you behaved yourself so heres a reward Good little doggy, you are always so sweet, You always are so helpful to everybody Good little doggy, here is a reward, You are a good little boy, ill pet you some more Stupid little dog, Ill smack you in the head, I hate stupid dogs they all should be dead Stupid little dog, Why do you exist, I want to watch you on the floor, stupid little b***h Stupid little doggy, What have you done, You ruin everything by being a dog Stupid little doggy, Why do you want to play, No one really cares about you anyways What does it mean when you are a good little boy When you listen to the adults and you do what they say When you stay out of trouble, and you listen to your teachers what does it mean? We raised children the way we do dogs, but what does it mean to truly be a dog? Does it mean they are garbage we should toy around with, does it mean its something we should beat and kick What is a dog though? Do they deserve love? Do they deserve compassion, do they deserve love? Even as a servant do they not deserve kindness? Are they something to spit at and laugh at though? What is a dog, what is a child? We treat them the same dont we? We do the same things. Good little boy, here is a cookie, you did your homework, you did all your choirs, Good little boy here is a reward, now go to bed on time and you get a reward. We raise people always to follow and comply and then in the end we will all die We all strive to be the good little girls and boys and maybe if we are we get a reward If not we shall be punished for not obeying the rules We are forced to follow endlessly with parents and authority but nothing says that authority must care You might want to be a good citizen but what does it mean to be one? We are forced to do this from a young age and become citizens who follow and obey We are just dogs who once were pups We have no free will as adults We prepare children to follow this fate Working long hours at certain set rates What does it mean to truly be a dog, is existing as one truly ever wrong?
