Heaven and Hell

Heaven and Hell

A Poem by RoyRogers
"

A metaphorical interpretation of heaven and hell

"
Hell and heaven exist together on earth. Heaven is not seeing the problems and so not caring about them. Hell is
seeing all the problems and not being able to fix them. The Devil cursed us with awareness and intelligence and
God blessed us with ignorance. God told adam not to eat the fruit since he would see the evil of the world. Those
of you who are not ignorant will always suffer as you watch the sheep go to the slaughter and are not able to
save
them. While the sheep blindly walk into the slaughter house so the wolves can eat them. The greedy wolves are
sinners and those of us who try to stop them are decent people but we cant save all these sheep. So sometimes
you get to the point where you no longer care about the sheep suffering since you have seen it too many times
before. The Devil gave us a gift but there will always be a cost for what he gives. Sometimes I think the aware
wonder if they were better off born ignorant. Those who see the issues will always be treated as though they are
carrying the plague. So they are forced to walk alone.
