Catchy Copper

A Poem by RoxyMonoxide
"

A poem, inspired by esteemed rapper artist Skinnyman, which subverts gender roles and classism. Also criticises the criminal justice system with relation to these discriminations.

            Slowly Slowly

            Catchy Copper

            You be the bar-maid

            I'll be the robber

See I'm not writer I'm biter

            And I'm rippin; your tunes

            Refracting them back

With the force of the full moon

So don't talk to me ‘bout pixies and elves

            Cos thieves have justice

            When judges steel themselves
