Joyce's ArabyA Poem by RoxyMonoxideA rainy day in the pub
I love the weak sun as it filters through the clouds.
On a rainy day in the pub Waiting for your part-time lover to arrive, that we might share a flirtatious glance. I love the very air today, and whisper wishes upon the breeze. And subtle melodies sing out it’s evergreen. I love. I love Joyce’s Araby that I have just read, and will read again. I am one million miles away from pain. And am high from a single cigarette. That I might share a single glance Is enough for me and life is much enhanced. © 2018 RoxyMonoxide |
