SeasonsA Poem by Roxie MartelliA poem for English Class Sophomore Year. I think there was a purpose to this one, but I can't quite remember. I think the only catch is that it had to rhyme. I'm not sure. Normally not a fan of rhyming poems (Dr. Seuss is NOT my friend) but it turned outWashing the cold out With a Streak of Light Melting my grief from the cold of night Letting the rays lick my fingers, Ever so slight to instill the Love of Life for Another Day, Another Day
Putting the lost behind My springtime life is now at hand But I fear I will go back to that winter wonderland For now I'm thankful for Another Day, Another Day
Now my face shrowd in warmth Smiles upon this light of day. But what now, comes the dark from this Beautiful light, Showing it now, Two sides to this day Another trechorus day, Another trechorus day. © 2008 Roxie MartelliAuthor's Note
