Hallow WordsA Poem by Roxie MartelliI was going through a point in time where I felt like nothing I said anymore had any meaning. Standing in school saying this pledge that, I felt everyone, including myself, had no clue to what it even meant to people who've actually fought for it. I feltHallow Words. Its all I see, Empty pledges to a Nation who has a messed up policy. Making tiny waves in a place that has no sea, Hallow words that are dry, no feeling
I won't say it anymore I won't say anything anymore That has no feeling.
Make my words complete Make my life something to see. Give me reason to speak. © 2008 Roxie Martelli
