Utopia Never Lasts

Utopia Never Lasts

A Poem by Roxie Martelli
"

Ever feel pissed off because people ignorantly take everything that's given to them without questioning? I do.

Utopia Never Lasts

Surreal Life passing by my eyes
Was this meant for me?
Perfect lies, now I breakdown and Cry
Living life unquestioned gives me sickness
When you sit and hope for the best, no action

Utopia Never Lasts!
Utopia Never Lasts!
Get up and Fight!

I see you again broken, like I was
Can't hude that smile of mine
Ignorance is bliss? Give me reality
I want truth, no Catch 22

Author's Note

Roxie Martelli
I really don't know about the last line about Catch 22. It still one of those things where I think I prolly could have put a way better line, but still can't touch it for some reason.
