I quit!

I quit!

A Poem by Roxcheek
"

Ever worked in a job you hate?

"
I can't wait for the day that I say I quit!
I'll walk out with my head held high,
Smiling, finally free of the misery,
Not a hint of sadness in my goodbye.

And I'm sure I won't be the only one who is glad,
Some staff will cheer with glee,
I'll not even pass a glance their way,
Eyes fixated on the door that frees me.

I long for the day that I can say,
I'm not going to work here any more!
2 weeks notice endured because I'll know it's the end,
And if they ask why, I'll give them what for!

This has been a long, trying experience,
That has undoubtedly changed me, made me stronger,
But I can't put how much I hated it on my CV,
So I don't want to endure it any longer.
