Hide

Hide

A Poem by Rowena Slade

Hide.

Hide form the light.

Hide from people.

Hide deep within yourself.

They can't find you.

No.

Not ever.

If they do

They'll hurt you.

Don't let them see you.

Pretend to be happy,

Laugh,

Smile,

Act nice,

Act like you care.

Hide who you are,

What you've done,

Where you've been.

They can never know,

You can never tell.

Keep your secrets.

Hide your secrets,

Deep,

Deep down.

Cover them with lies.

They'll hate,

They'll hurt you for the truth.

Shhh...

You can't cry for help.

If your do,

They'll know the truth.

They'll know

Your a shattered,

Broken,

Destroyed,

Empty,

Useless,

Worthless,

Cold hearted,

Monster.

They'll hunt you,

Torture you,

Kill you,

Let you rot in hell.

So honey,

Please hide.

If you hide,

You'll be safe.

Keep them in the dark.

That way they can't hurt you,

Torture you,

And kill you.

That way

You won't rot in hell

Before it's your time.
