Amazing Smile

As I walk in the hallway,

Painful thoughts enter my brain,

And I struggle

To block them out.

Then I see you,

And my mind goes blank.

Just looking at you,

At your amazing smile,

Takes it all away.

All the darkness

That once consumed me

Has now set me free.

Your smile

It's like magic.

It takes away the pain,

The darkness,

The depression.

Instead,

It brings in feelings

Of safety

Of light

And of happiness.

So now

Whenever I'm down

I'll think of your

Amazing smile.
