Contrary

Contrary

A Poem by Rowan Storm

Forget glittering midnight blue

Dive into my fiery depths

Trust me, words ringed in truth

Lies dive asunder of me, yes

When the thoughts become of you

The downpour is deafening

The thunder is silent

This dry spell we're in

Man, this is contradiction

Feel the power within

Now say it again

This is now, that was then

And so a storm rages through your heart as you try not to think of the one person you simply cannot stop thinking about. Damn you are good my friend...!
