Falling Up

Falling Up

A Poem by Rowan Storm

I fell.

I fell so far down.

I knew that I would die if I hit bottom.

So I waited.

Waited.

I waited.

And I knew that the end would be soon.

And I waited.

Waited.

I did wait.

Then I opened my eyes.

I saw nothing.

Until I saw light.

I saw blue.

I saw clouds.

I saw the sun.

I saw stars.

I saw space.

I looked down.

And I finally noticed.

I was falling up.

Fall to heaven, fall to grace, fall to save yourself the face. Fall to sun, Fall to moon, Fall to let yourself swoon. Save it all and give it up, let nothing fall, but do fall up. Just a little something I read between the lines. And you have done a wonderful job with this one my friend.
