Night Before Christmas

Night Before Christmas

A Poem by Rowan Storm
"

This is pretty self-explanatory.

"

It is the night of ev'ry child's deep dreams

In truth, it's the words they whisper to need

The glittering magic shines and does gleam

And it's their imagination they feed

And the shadow that steals like a dark thief

Hides the trail and stays to my disbelief

No tears ever cried and abandon grief

Touching the trees and does fall with the leaves

Glistening colors like glistening gems

Red, blue, green, yellow, orange, purple, silver

The life from which growth and love truly stems

And it's something you should never pilfer

The Christmas joy and Christmas spirit last

From the present, to the future then past
