The Great Unknown

i stand in the middle of a great vortex.

so many questions spin in my mind like a violent cyclone

but there aren't enough answers to appease the storm.

it consumes me.

 

i sink further into the mire, with no hope of escape.

how did i get here?

how did i fall so far?

where are you?

 

the darkness is almost blinding.

i can't find my way out.

i cry out to you in hope of an answer,

and i wait for direction. I wait for you.

 

my wait is never in vain.

just as surely as the sun will rise in the morning, you come.

your light pierces my darkness and illuminates my soul.

your brilliance shines on my world and i can see again.

 

you plucked me from uncertainty.

you gave me rest from questions.

you gave me the will to go on.

you rescued me from the great unknown.

After reading some of your later ones it is brilliant to see how far you have come, you are like a diamond in a rock - it takes time and effort to find you but once you do you become the best. I really liked that line anyway if you want to edit it I suggest you just do a straight-out rewrite, sort out the flow because it really does not and make all i capitals. Also I hate the line 'the darkness is almost blinding' how can darkness be almost blinding surely darkness is always blinding unless you have a reason for putting this in i would erase it from existance.

You lamenations of the spirit are probably going to be your best works because they come from way in deep. I found mine were the same but soon grew further and further in this craft.
