Autumn sonnetA Poem by Kevin WilliamsNature
As an acorn fall Juxtapose to auburn leaves.
A squirrel embarks on a sanguine journey to garner nuts. He's prepping for his overwinter as he believes. He amasses a myriad of nuts for the harsh winter nights. As the sun begins her rest at six in the evening. The moon scintillates through bare branches to light a benign ground. Cold winds ossify the air and makes the basal freezing. It's a cue for the winter season to come around. Albeit Autumn here and she's picturesque. Her veil chagrins winter whom by contrast is grotesque. © 2015 Kevin Williams |
