paradoxesA Poem by Kevin WilliamsGood poem
With the manifold gaze upon the world I slowly go within my mind,
Gazing upon the majestic seas of purple that glisten against the rays of light from my inner sun this is a place where silver cloud’s sail across an imaginary sky that brings bands of rain to hills of grass. This place is a paradise where everyone reflects the same love that saints share but the door of hell also lies here where regions rein with travesty and destitution ripens the land. This place is the warmth of earth and the iciness of space. It is love and love murder. It is the protector and its betrayer. It is the brightest star in the galaxy and the blackest space in the universe. It is all things but mostly it’s that little saint that lies in all of us. © 2014 Kevin Williams |
