Smith lakeA Poem by Kevin WilliamsSonnet about a lake
Oh, as I gaze at myself in Smith lake.
I start to look hotly at the water. Encompassed by the concord of daybreak. I see water striders cross the water. They dance in glee to nature's symphony. They set the ambience as the rain drops. Begetting mother nature's homily. Which is seraphic even when the rain stops. Albeit fain her fury is familiar. Her maelstrom of justice purges her landscape. We cannot even censure her behavior. Being ensued provides a narrow escape. Protecting her eternal mirror forever. Her lakes impervious to endeavors © 2014 Kevin Williams |
