Apple Orchard sonnetA Poem by Kevin WilliamsNature
Admist the orchard birds sing lullabies.
Saintely birds chirp nature's mantra. They garner their vim sweetly and harmonize. Sanguine fledglings grasp nature Anthem. The euphony of birds a cloying concord. To harbingering the ethos of prey. They're aloof from fauna they've abhorred. To an epicure they're a sweet filet. There's an effigy admist an aerie. Swooping down the mountain declivity. They suffer losses to their coterie. Unable to efface nature's proclivity. The incarnadine shades a fervid scape. For life to flourish for the next daybreak. © 2014 Kevin Williams |
