Mirror Shards Sputtered

Mirror Shards Sputtered

A Poem by Apollo
"

Random poem I made out of being out of touched with who I am whenever my reflection follows me in the mirror. It's about how estranged and copy & paste I feel to others.

"

Torn by the reflections that whisper monster

Shatter among shatter pieces to obscurity

My voice screams in a droning cacophony

“Where has your pragmatism gone? You Imposter”

All pieces of the story were nothing but blurred truths

Yet the audience don’t mind the deplorable ruse

Funny, how my reflection depicts a different cryptid

Depends on who hold the mirror handle

Why can’t these dissected shards merge in harmony

All parts screeching in unholy matrimony

“None of your screams can break your shadow”

Oh, wretched voice, I know I know…

Please just water the gardens we left hollow
