Voice recorder

I found a voice recorder while climbing over rocks
Dented and scratched I wonder if it talks
Tiny little buttons which one will it be
When I tried the power one It said these things to me
"This is not your voice recorder you should let me go
Climb to the highest rock aim for the sea and throw"
I found a voice recorder while climbing over rocks
Put it in my pocket now It's muffled when It talks
I climb to the highest one and look down at the sea
I catch my breath... I look at the last there is of me
I turn around to go down and hear these words
This is not your voice recorder you should let me go
Climb to the highest rock aim for the sea and throw
I set it down where It was found and turned it off...
