cherished glow ever bright

adoring dreamers endless flight

soaring embers night fire rain

kiss me madly before I go insane

speechless words slow muted sounds

beggar stands upon unhallowed grounds

kept alive must pay for sin 

threads of hope fraying thin

goblets tilt in loves libation 

teardrops fall in syncopation

humbled brow sunken chest

swallows cry and lay to rest

cloaked in your camouflage
