My kindled heart
A Poem by
Rossen
touched by thoughts
through echoing pain
kept aloft over our
none to blame
shred of hope
just waiting there
what's leftover
the fact I care
camouflage
a world away
loves sundering
your hideaway
breathing in your exhale
your softest part
taking in your reveries
my kindled heart

A winsome and tender write. Beautiful expression.

You can feel the crunch of love being torn apart here...yet the light of hope is still left on. I really love the exhale.

My pleasure, have heard the crunch before...
Has softness to it, real romantic. Very touching, and flows good.

You're welcome!
Just one little spark can set the heart on fire, what a sweet little romantic poem.

I love how poetry begets poetry....thank you Dale.
this is beautiful and i attached to it a certain way...
i have gone through three divorces...and mostly with that "no fault" clause..
but that seems a cop out...something happened...something caused it, from one of us or both of us...
and to start a relationship...there is a kindling...but both have to feel it...
