A single ray a wisp of light

A single ray a wisp of light

A Poem by Rossen

If I told you I loved you
would it scare you away

if I could show it to you
in my poet first kinda way

would you listen to my heart
pressing keys gently slow

I would like to share with you
something you should know

the mist that settled after
this last winter storm

a beautiful new prism
of true colours was born

out of the grey turn dark
a single ray a wisp of light

arched crossed a dividing  sea
banded colours of natures might

a space where love could matter
no matter how distant or far

joined by a kiss of sunshine
and the joy of loving you

where ever you are

Sir Rossen

I love romantic poetry and there is a tenderness to your words that I find so appealing. Gorgeous writing my friend.

Smiling ...Thank you Ms Jewel, this means a lot to me...
I really like the theme of this....especially the idea of pressing keys slowly...gently....to show real love in a poet kind of way...

nicely done.
