Moon Lake

Moon Lake

A Poem by Hugh Roberts

Lightning bugs and kick the can

Father crowning me a man

Never steal and never fight

Unless ofcourse you're in a plight

You're a Francis not a bum

Never forget from whence you come

The squeaky wheel gets the oil

Who knew life would hold such toil

What's down there within the lake

My old mans smile I'd gladly take

Perhaps it's just a flash trouts fin?

You'll never know til you dive in
