Premonitions & Flashbacks

A Poem by Ross Emerson Realino

Until I can no longer see you
Until my nerves no longer feel your hands
Until I can no longer smell your sweat
Until my ears can no longer hear you sing
Until I can no longer taste the way we kiss
And until all my senses fail

My soul will find its way home
The same warmth we felt in our early days

And when the selfish time has arrived
To let blindess finally close my eyes
Take my hand and love me twice

Lead me to our very first dates
Take me to the galleries that we love
Sing me songs we used to smile together
Embrace my soul as if it's the last
And kiss me like we've been lightyears apart

No more holding back of tears
For there is me and you in years

Then memories will lead us back
To the very first of our first

About
I used to try writing songs before but I can't make one, so I tried to find something where I can put my early works of lyrics. Until they were turned into poems. I started poetry when I was 16 years .. more..
