Shallow BreathingA Poem by Ross Emerson Realino
Seize all those days in between
A rush of cyanide under my skin For you've come forth into my mind I must confess that I've been blind Blinded by this technicolor dream Hands in my pocket shiver as they seem Too wonderful to believe What a beautiful time to live Stepping back and forth As I see you coming to view From the corners of my eye To the bottom of my mind I scream I scream your name As it lingers on the tip of my tongue I scream I scream and no one will hear Excitation is possessing my soul Shallow breathing Here I go again I'm catching my breath I'm catching your glances Shallow breathing Here we go again Was it right or was it lame To let my words drive the revelation? It's so wrong It's so right I die everytime I try to talk to you I die everytime I see you I die everytime I think of you And I die everytime I think of possibilities Those chances I might take To reach the unreachable star like you So good It's too good to be true Everytime I try to disappear Everytime I throw myself upward I can't believe my eyes Gravity always wins That's why I always fall for you © 2017 Ross Emerson RealinoAuthor's Note

Until they were turned into poems. I started poetry when I was 16 years .. more..WritingRelated WritingPeople who liked this story also liked..
