Snowflakes Of Summer

Snowflakes Of Summer

A Poem by Ross Emerson Realino

And so it was
The day I left my heart on this table
Under the old shed
Next to a humble tree

It was this table that wrote this episode
It was an empty afternoon
All the feelings were resting inside
Nothing to show but a spoonful of glance

You were just two tables away
And got this teenage hype once more
Those eyes were so blissful as hell
I wonder if I will ever be there

I don't need you to stare
I need you to speak
Speak up for my mute emotions
They were silent for years for you to find

And now that I have found you
Summer's short but nothing else matters
Two perfect strangers in this freezing summer
In a lonely world where poles never meet

About
I used to try writing songs before but I can't make one, so I tried to find something where I can put my early works of lyrics. Until they were turned into poems. I started poetry when I was 16 years .. more..
