White Silhouette

White Silhouette

A Poem by Ross Emerson Realino

And what?
What should I say?
Is there something to say?
Is there something I need to know?

I tried to save you
I tried to open your mind
But you won't listen
You sprinkled your wounds with salt
And what's the worst you said?
You still like that same jerk again
And after all that was left
Huh? You are still deaf?
How many cat lives do you need?
How many slaps of truth do your face need?
You said you'll never be fooled again
Where's the grudge you've wanted?
How many words have you wasted?
You still obviously catch your past

And I, who am I to you?
Your journal?
Your diary?
Your wall?

Oh please, don't say a word
Then I will never speak at all

It feels like you are angry with someone in a subtle way. I liked it. Well written. I loved the last line.

About
I used to try writing songs before but I can't make one, so I tried to find something where I can put my early works of lyrics. Until they were turned into poems. I started poetry when I was 16 years .. more..
