God Of The People

I stopped praying since our last swing
I went to you and saw nothing
No salvation, no forgiveness

You pranked me with a talking snake
Blame it to every man you make

Repent is what you're telling me
I answered with my blasphemy
No salvation, no forgiveness

Watching down from above the sky
The sheperd leads the sheep to die
No salvation, no forgiveness

When my days are in sodomy
I know that you care and love me
No salvation, no forgiveness

Unconditional love you tell
But I'm sinful, drag me to hell
No salvation, no forgiveness

You said I'll know truth when I'm dead
Down my pain, this is all you said:

"Son, stop asking, just believe me
If you want immortality
You know nothing, you're a dummy
Thinking is a stupidity
I want to hear you cry my name
For you are born a sinful man
Caged in illusion when you came
Who said I'm here to help you, son?"
