The EndA Poem by Ross Emerson Realino
Alone with papers and burning light
Lay my head, felt nothing's right Night falls in as I'm 'bout to start Watching my pieces falling apart And rushed to my bedroom to give it a fight Then picked up a story from my good friend Finally knew it, this is the end Wore my raincoat, it's raining with tears Excuse me, I'm dead inside for years Anyway it's okay, it would never mend Your smile and giggle, I know it's not mine Take your time and I'll be just fine Aren't you happy that I care for you Wondering if you've eaten more than two Dear don't starve for life's caught in vine You're on the line but we hardly talk It's quarter to two, I'll go for a walk May he always make you smile The one that will walk you a mile And I, I chose to fade like a chalk © 2016 Ross Emerson RealinoAuthor's Note
