Discreet Spirit

Discreet Spirit

A Poem by Ross Emerson Realino

I've got nothing more to ask
Isolation is my gas mask
Living behind my solitary walls
Miles away from anyone's calls

My cradle of seclusion
Dextrose of insulation
A crowd of thousand silent souls
So hard to see through the holes

Emptiness inside is what I see
That even my own shadow has left me
If everything would just drift away from the shore
I should have just disappeared before
