The Day I Hurt Myself

The Day I Hurt Myself

A Poem by Ross Emerson Realino

I'll never say hi again
And never remember when
Someday I will understand why
The day I hurt myself to die

All the days that passed
Will turn itself to rust
If I could just live again
I shall never do it all again

The things you ought to know
Your motionless emotions
Our space between the blanks
How I bellow inside of me
The way my eye sees you
Will all shatter in front of me
And you will not be blamed for it

My heart will feel as long as it can
But will hide from you now and then
Someday I will understand why
The day I hurt myself to die

About
I used to try writing songs before but I can't make one, so I tried to find something where I can put my early works of lyrics. Until they were turned into poems. I started poetry when I was 16 years .. more..
