The Ballad Of The White Rose And The RavenA Poem by Ross Emerson Realino
Everything is new to see
Like a child under the sun All are dangerously beautiful Even a policewoman equipped with a gun Step outside while summer time's in bloom Look at the lonely rose that ever grows Wasting his time watching birds fly by Until the raven came near the white rose Nothing is real except for the two He blooms as she blindly ignores him Nothing is left except for their strange names Only witnesses are the clouds of cream It seems like no one really cares Empty and nothing to say In this hot and freezing afternoon The white rose died as the raven flew away © 2015 Ross Emerson RealinoAuthor's Note
