A Table For No One

A Table For No One

A Poem by Ross Emerson Realino

Spoon and fork were the perfect couple
Until knife stabbed back one of them
Chopsticks were the best brothers
Arm in arm, they carry each other's loads
Someone broke the glass' fragile heart
Can someone fix her broken pieces back again?
The plate is waiting for someone to fill him colors
But this chair will stay for ages until someone takes his place
It will always be lonely as he watch the worn-out utensils
It seems that they still don't know why are they here
