A Damn School DayA Poem by Ross Emerson Realino
How well did you learn?
All you've done with your eyebrow is to burn They teach and educate On how to get soaring scores and rate You never knew the reason behind the subject All you did is to stuck it in your head to be perfect Since the day you learned how to read and write Still confused what is wrong and right Reality is merely an illusion The wise man said with a perfection They give exams without a sound All they do is count the answers you've found Students gather in their classes Just like pigs inside tall fences Stuck inside these four corners As teachers dictate their orders Blackboard turns into bloody white As students start to damnly write Recitations are echoes of death As you smell your classmate's breath Knife cuts you as you see her with another And people will think that you are bitter You will know that she's not waiting for you But for someone that will give a clue Bring home the pile of homeworks Burn them and see how it works Dig a pit for the projects And set a burial mass for all subjects Then you started to crawl homeward As people think you're a coward Red smoke start to rise in your eyes And for you to sleep is my only advice © 2015 Ross Emerson RealinoAuthor's Note
