Here Today, Gone Tomorrow

Here Today, Gone Tomorrow

A Poem by Ross Emerson Realino

Catch the stars and fly away
For our memories are the reflections of our youth
Swim deep and hold on
For our memories may vanish in the haze
Run away and never look back
But our memories will always be our home
Close your eyes and reminisce
For the memories of you and I will never die
You may forget me but never cry
For our memory is the brother of experience in life
Stand and step outside
For our memories are the doors of our endless fantasy
Explore and share the lessons
For our memories are the pages in the book of our life
Be mine and don't be hard to get
For our memories are the souvenirs of our sweet past
Rest and return
For our memories are foundations of our strength
Go but stay in my heart
For our memories will be here today and gone tomorrow

About
I used to try writing songs before but I can't make one, so I tried to find something where I can put my early works of lyrics. Until they were turned into poems. I started poetry when I was 16 years .. more..
