Heaven Knows How Embittered I Am

Heaven Knows How Embittered I Am

A Poem by Ross Emerson Realino

My half-opened eyes are tired
And my weary hands are wired
With chains of insecurity and discontentment
While singing the songs of our lament

My heart is deeply soaked
In a glass of blood while I am choked
As the heat embraces me like a rapist
I feel my pulse rushing through my wrist

I can sense a tender sweet betrayal
How dare you be so denial
When you made me so entertaining
And kept my head turning

Heaven knows how embittered I am
Even the stars know it as they shine like a gem
Trying to weep with cold hands of mine
And fool myself to think I am really fine

Do you really care
Or you lost it somewhere
I was trying to catch your eyes
If it's true or just a disguise

You have wasted my nights and days
Even the tears that rolled down on my face
There's always something there for me to remember
That the past is just an old and used diaper

About
I used to try writing songs before but I can't make one, so I tried to find something where I can put my early works of lyrics. Until they were turned into poems. I started poetry when I was 16 years .. more..
