Dreamer's Balloons

Dreamer's Balloons

A Poem by Ross Emerson Realino

I dream of holding your balloons
Like craving to hear some new tunes
I see them big and clear
Whenever you are standing near

Just like a child
My imaginations are wild
They may be a masterpiece
Or a woman kneeling on her knees

They shine with the sunlight
And bounce its reflection in my sight
They seem to catch my attention
And causes to break a tension

Behind that wall is your balloons
They seem to protect it from the goons
The wall may be light or dark
Visibility still appears with its line mark

I feel so strange whenever I'm on the line
But seeing it makes me feel so fine
I wonder if you feel it very tight
But it will be a relief for you every night

It might sound a little crazy
But it fires me up whenever I feel lazy
And so I dream of handling it gently
To avoid bursting it quickly

The flag of our fathers strongly stands
Withstands the test of time in our hands
My eyes turns into black
Whenever I watch you talk about it at the back

And now the dream is over
I just can't resist the hangover
Of holding your balloons one time or another
For tomorrow is another dream to remember

About
I used to try writing songs before but I can't make one, so I tried to find something where I can put my early works of lyrics. Until they were turned into poems. I started poetry when I was 16 years .. more..
