Domino EffectA Poem by Rose DiamondI've had no motivation to write lately, but I plan on returning from my hiatus :)How are we supposed to be strong When we fall at the slightest touch? How are we supposed to be sturdy When we crash at the most gentle breeze? How are we supposed to be happy When all we do is disappoint? How are we supposed to feel free When we're built to be knocked over? How are we supposed to feel desired When we're no longer played with at recess? We are not the blocks that make up the base Or the blocks that beautify the top We are the blocks that were designed for failure The blocks that were doomed to die Nobody admires our handiwork They admire our vulnerability Our weakness They build us up only to break us down Watch as we fall As we push They watch as we collapse At the slightest movement The smallest problem The most minor of conflicts We are weak We are vulnerable We are dominoes
