Those of us with older parents all seem to share the same story. The shame of it is that one day our roles will be reversed, as others lament over us. The results of my experiences became resolves to prepare my family's future to ease their burden as I begin to wander. One easy step for them has been my pointing out how narrow a road I walk as I often stumble; forgetting their names, simple words and phrases, etc. Not dwelling on the negative aspects, but getting them to laugh with me as life struggles with my memory and myyyyyyy.
