We need the good role of a father to make us grow into mature adults

WHERE WERE YOU DAD!!!!!......

Dad where were you when I was born
Dad where were you when it hurt so bad.
Dad where were you when I needed a friend.
Dad where were you when I needed to play.
Dad where was my new dress for my prom
and all shoes I needed to buy.
All these years you did forget to give
your daughter some attention.
desperate for some affection
pushed away by a dad I never knew.
How can I make you understand.
Mum is the one
She stood bye me through the years.
and taught me what I know
She will make me proud you're see.
when we walk hand in hand just her
and me.

All these lonely nights without a dad
no bedtime stories
no kisses or bedtime hugs.
no prayers to pray to God.
no walks in the park
no movies and pop corn too.
so sad you missed my childhood day's
How can I make you understand
it was my mum
she is the one that was true too me.
Just maybe if you will listen.
perhaps you will understand...
that mum was the one that cared for me
