SINGLE MUM PART TWO

SINGLE MUM PART TWO

A Poem by ROSALIND
"

A mothers job is never done

"

SINGLE MUM PART TWO

Shopping its never ending there is
just no use in pretending that life
isn't always sweet.
Some people need not always be rude!
For it does not cost a lot for
someone to be polite, at the best of
times dragging a food trolly
around the supermarket can be so
frustrating"

Packing the food and cans into
bags is so annoying the worst
Mums job ever.
And that's not all wait until
you arrive home lifting
the bags from taxi
and into the house it goes.
Oh please just let me catch
my breath.
I'm dieing on a cuppa

Rush around the kitchen putting
the food in the fridge
no peace for the wicked
all is not done.
kid's banging on the door
home from school
still not put my weary
legs up to rest.
so tired fell asleep
the kids woke me up
where's our tea.
A mums job is never done.
