Trees

Trees

A Poem by ROSALIND

Trees

Trees are different they tell stories
Trees remind me of a quiet place to be
I find them enchanting
Offering warmth of a summer breeze.
Somewhere to shelter away from a busy world
I love to stand with them feeling brave.
Ready to conquer the ocean waves
Autumn in its banquet of gold leaves.
Covering the earth unique beauty
I love to skip through a carpet of rusty leaves
being a child.
Trees in winter remind me to unclutter
Cut back on excess sugar.
Dress up snug as a bug.
In spring time trees are brought back to life.
Like newly green buds been born from a mother's womb.
Dancing with the wind
Reminding the birds to sing.
Trees have a lot to say
They have never ending stories.
