Doormat

Doormat

A Story by ROSALIND

I wish just sometimes I could
Just say no
I find hard not too
With family
This time I have to stand my ground
Put boundaries into place
I feel deeply unappreciated
Taken for granted time after time
Still I need to be firm
And be consistent
Or the new boundaries that I put into
Place will be ignored
I need to look after my best interests
Because no-one else will

Ok, sound like you know what to do then. hahah We all wish to have a "giver" in our life and it's nice to be that until they wipe there feet on you like a door matt! All jokes aside and my 2 cents rolling in- it means your a good person and that's rare nowadays like a 2 dollar bill.
