Suicide

Suicide

A Poem by ROSALIND

Pierce the body
but not the heart
Metal studs
Dug in hard
Fighting
To keep my culture
I don't need judgement
Just some empathy
Piercings come with art
A point made when you feel sad
A price to pay
gamble with your life
My holes aren't pretty
The fact is they are ugly
Deep down I cant stop
Pain is embedded
Wounds that wont heal
Piercings are my lifeline
It my body my life
