HeavenlyA Poem by ROSALIND
I waited untill the sunset faded
I watched the birds fly high above the twilight sky I yawned at the fresh dew of dawn But still I waited I listened too cheerful Song sung by the red breasted feather Feasting on heather But still I waited . Heard the clock chime fast approaching mid-day. But still I waited . For you my child I waited . But you were too busy To be still . My eyes are wet with tears But still I waited I waited again until the pale moon light shone again. © 2022 ROSALINDReviews
