Weeping words

Weeping words

A Poem by ROSALIND

Broken Promise
Is like a bitter poison
They suck the life
Suffocating the roots
They fade and wither
They loose their precious perfume
The heart renders no more
Empty
Still.

Promise kept are Like
petty priceless gems
Often memorable
In a holy ground.
They are our friends
