My demon imsomnia

My demon imsomnia

A Poem by ROSALIND
"

suffering from the lack of sleep.

"

Sleep why won't you come
I feel so tired
My mind is restless with worry
The howling wind has become my enemy.
The night is lonely
Oh how,  I wish i could just drift of into a deep sleep.

The wind refuses to subside
And batters a storm all through
the night.
Yawning until early morn
Why won't sleep just come.
Merciless I lie here waiting
For a wink of sleep

It feels like a million years
Tossing and turning
Trying to get some sleep
I shut my eyes tight
But Still sleep refuses to come

My body is weak
From the lack of sleep
I try to get comfortable
but my body just won't relax
The demon is back.
