Her inner child

Her inner child

A Poem by ROSALIND

Looking in the middle of the mirror
I see a little scared girl
A woman on the outside
And yet the inner child
Is trapped in a dark prison
From "Years" of torment
Her inner soul is bleeding
from all the hurt she has carried
around in her inner child.
She won't be freed until
She let's the pain go .
Then her inner child
will move into womanhood.
