I waited for my child.

I waited for my child.

A Poem by ROSALIND

All i needed was you
I rested on your brow
I left my worries with you
And trusted you with my life.

I walked with you
I gave you my hand
you took it
and guided me along
a difficult path

Together we walked
the storm
And the waves of comfort
splashed against the shore
with vibrant co lours of gold.

My child i waited for you
all day long
Still I waited until sunset
Had reached the stars
and they dazzled all night long

My heart sank i wept
and waited until sunrise
and still you never came
But I always Love you
No-one has loved you
the way I, have.

This is very touching and emotional writing, I felt every sense you describe in your words. God always keep you happy, keep on writing.
Btw if you ever get a chance read my poem, 'Face of God'. You will feel connected.
